Hello 5th Grade Families!
The peak of the 5th grade hierarchy is finally here: Science Camp! Your kids have officially earned their turn to head off to NatureBridge Golden Gate in Sausalito from February 17–19, 2027, for cabin stories, ocean views, giant trees, and getting their hands dirty with all things science.
To make sure we get every single student registered, please review the details below and fill out the attached Brooks 5th Grade Science Camp Commitment Form by September 30th.
The Costs & Payment Options Total student cost is $400.00 (covers the full trip and round trip transportation). When filling out the form, you can select the option that works best for your family:

• Pay in Full: $400.00.
• Standard Payment Plan: $100 deposit due Sept 30 + $100 payments due Oct 10, Nov 10, and Dec 10.
• Partial Scholarship Request ($200 covered): $100 deposit due Sept 30 + $33.33 payments due Oct 10, Nov 10, and Dec 10 ($33.34).
• Full Scholarship Request: Full financial assistance for families experiencing hardship.
• Chaperones: $250.00 (Our Science Camp Coordinator, Allie Hartley, will reach out with details for interested parents!).

Payment Instructions & Rules

• Deadline: Deposits are strictly due by September 30th so we can lock in numbers and budget. All final balances are due by December 10th.
• How to Pay: Please make checks payable to Brooks Elementary School with your child's name in the memo line. Cash or check can be turned into your child's teacher or the front office (receipts are available upon request). We are working on an online payment website portal (we will send out information once this is in place), but please note we cannot take credit cards in the office or over the phone.
• Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable per NatureBridge policy.

Scholarships & Donations

• Scholarship Hard Deadline: September 30th is the absolute cutoff for financial assistance so we can finalize our budget, we WILL NOT accept scholarship requests after this date.
• Pay It Forward: Want to help another child experience camp? Check the donation box on the commitment form to contribute to a classmate's trip fund!
