Hello Brooks Families,

Friendly heads up for the holiday season: Friday, December 19 is a minimum day, and our awesome students are out at 1:15 pm. Yes, it’s on the District Calendar, but judging by the cartoon we just shared, you can imagine how it goes when parents forget. Kids start looking like stranded explorers, improvising games, making questionable snack choices, and forming alliances with random crows. Nobody wants that to start their holiday break.

So please, set a reminder, tie a string around your finger, tattoo “1:15 pm” on your forearm if necessary… whatever works. Just scoop up those kiddos at 1:15 pm so they don’t start playing “I Spy: Day 47” at the pick up bench.

As we wrap up 2024, we’re wishing your family a joyful holiday season and a very happy New Year. May your celebrations be bright, your treats plentiful!
