1, 2, 3, 4… We Declare a Penny War! 🪙

A group of elementary school children participates in a "Penny War" fundraiser in their school hallway, dropping coins into jars labeled by grade. They are eagerly contributing to their respective grade's jar, aiming to collect the most pennies.Student Council is holding Penny Wars Next Week!
Dates - Monday December 8th - Friday December 12th. In the mornings from 7:50 - 8:25 am.
Where - Student Council will have a table set up just inside the front school gate with Jars lined up to take coins.
How to Participate - Each grade level of our school will have their own Jar. 3rd - 1 jar, 4th - 1 jar, and 5th - 1 jar. Students can donate coins (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters) into their grade level jar if they wish to raise money all week long. 1 dollar and 5 dollar bills will also be accepted, but looking mostly for coins. THIS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL.
Why - Our school and student council want to raise money to donate to the organization - Toys for Tots to help families in need to buy christmas presents for their children this holiday so they can also celebrate Christmas day.
Prize for Winning Grade Level - The grade level that raises the most money by the end of the week, those grade level teachers get to pick one student from each class and they will get to pie their teacher in the face!
*And again this is completely optional!
