Hi Brooks families,

Our Scholastic Book Fair is almost here, running December 8 through December 12, and we’re kicking things into high gear. Two quick but important asks are below, and both make a huge difference for our students.

1. Help us sponsor a book for every disadvantaged Brooks student
We are still working toward our $1,500 Share the Fair goal, which allows us to give students the chance to choose their own book at no cost to them. They simply bring their selection to the register and check out with ease. I wish you could see their faces when they walk out clutching a book they picked themselves. Pure joy.

2. Volunteer coverage needed next week
We are running short on volunteers and may have to close during recess and lunch periods if we can’t fill a few remaining slots. If you can spare even two hours, we would love to have you. It’s a fun and heartwarming way to spend time on campus.
Here are the times where we still need help:

• Mon 12/8: 12:00 to 2:30
• Tue 12/9: 12:00 to 1:30
• Wed 12/10: 9:00 to 3:30
• Thu 12/11: 9:00 to 2:30
• Fri 12/12: 10:30 to 12:00 and 3:30 to 6:00
